gambling ya not our cup of tea but jake was known to love all movies for the most part maybe putting them in a scenario like a cross over to some movie that involves gambling as a major topic

i have a few ideas but what do you guys got for this one

now that i think about it putting them as if they where roll playing a scene that involved gambling or simply replacing them as the characters all together would also be good

In a metaphorical sense, a gamble is also known as a risk. And the fact that the two of them are, as of now, very confused teenagers with equally confusing hormones, admitting ones affections for the other is a gamble.

That's just one theory, I suppose...

Yes, I like this angle the most. I feel like shoehorning in literal gambling for these two would be insincere. I'm going to have to think some more but I think risk-taking is going to be my way in.

Why not a mafia/police thing? Since Jane's the heiress she would be like, about to inherit her great-grandma's "business" or something. Jake would be a police officer that busts a gambling den, and Jane would be in the kitchen or something. How's that?

There's a movie called Rat Race, and all the actors are in a casino. They get a gold coin from the machine, and all are told they can go across the nation to get to the grand prize; it's a huge gambling game, and a great adventure movie.

how about jane and jake going on an adventure in the ruins together. It could be a slight au where they both explore the creatures and treasures on jake's island maybe?
